Mirpuri Foundation Racing Team returns for a fourth consecutive Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy
The VO65 “Racing for the Planet” has been registered by the Cascais-based Mirpuri Foundation Racing Team to compete for the fourth consecutive year in the 2023 Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy.
The sustainability-focused regatta is considered one of Portugal’s premium sailing events and the fourth edition will be the biggest yet with the addition of 2 new classes including the Snipe South European Championship. A total of six classes will compete across three days of sailing in the Bay of Cascais from 7-9 July 2023.
Victorious in the inaugural edition of the regatta in 2020, the Mirpuri Foundation Racing Team won the VO65 class trophy in the following two editions.
The first of two days of racing for the team gets underway on Saturday 8 June 2023 and the crew who will steer Racing for the Planet will be announced in the coming weeks.
